Paradip Port Receives Maritime Excellence Achievers Award at India Maritime Week 2025

Paradip Port Authority (PPA) actively participated in India Maritime Week 2025 held in Mumbai, showcasing its growth, innovation, and contribution to India’s maritime vision.
Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shantanu Thakur, and Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Vijay Kumar, visited the Paradip Port Authority exhibition stall.
They were received by P. L. Haranadh, IRTS, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority, who briefed them on the port’s achievements, ongoing development projects, and future plans aimed at enhancing capacity, efficiency, and sustainability.
During the event, Paradip Port Authority was honoured with the Maritime Excellence Achievers Award under the category “Best Exhibit Award for Future Port Concept” at India Maritime Week 2025. The award was presented by Sarbananda Sonowal and Shantanu Thakur, and was received by P. L. Haranadh.
The recognition reflects Paradip Port Authority’s commitment to building a sustainable, technology-driven, and future-ready maritime ecosystem. Chairman Haranadh reaffirmed PPA’s dedication to driving innovation and contributing to the nation’s maritime growth under the vision of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
