ONE Introduces Export Carrier Haulage From Indian ICDs
Chennai:
Port Wings News Network:
Ocean Network Express (ONE) announced the launch of Export Carrier Haulage services for all inland container depot (ICD) locations in India from 20 September 2026.
This initiative supports ONE’s commitment to providing a seamless, one-window solution to enhance supply chain efficiency and competitiveness.
Below is the reproduction of important parts of the advisory from ONE.
Carrier Haulage
Please note the following changes for your information and guidance regarding Export Carrier Haulage:
If the empty pick-up and laden container handover point is an ICD, and the Place of Receipt (POR) in the ONE Bill of Lading is also the ICD location, the Ocean Freight will be subject to ONE Export Carrier Haulage charges, along with other applicable local charges as per the ONE tariff.
Reefer (RF) containers can be accepted under Carrier Haulage from the listed facilities where Export Carrier Haulage rates have already been published.
Merchant Haulage
For customers who opt for Shipper PDA / Merchant Haulage, please note the following:
The Place of Receipt (POR) in the Bill of Lading will no longer reflect the ICD location. Instead, the Place Of Receipt (POR) will be the respective Port of Loading, as haulage will be arranged by the customer. The applicable rate will be based on the date the container is handed over at the Port of Loading (POL).
The customer will be responsible for picking up the empty container and handing over the laden container at Port within the standard Export Free Time. Any delay beyond the applicable free time will be subject to Detention/Ground Rent charges as per the published tariff below.
Terminal Handling Charge under Merchant Haulage will be applicable as per tariff
Export D&D Tariff
