Adani Gangavaram Port Launches Second Mobile Health Care Unit for Nearby Villages

Taking another step towards making quality healthcare more accessible to people in nearby villages and underserved areas, Adani Gangavaram Port Limited on 22 September 2025 launched its second Mobile Health Care Unit (MHCU).
The unit was inaugurated by Visakhapatnam’s Member of Parliament, M. Sribharat, in the presence of Amit Malik, CEO – AGPL, and senior officials from the Port and Adani Foundation.
The new MHCU builds on the success of the first unit, which has already been serving thousands of families. With doctors, basic diagnostic tools, and free medicines on board, the MHCU brings medical care right to the doorsteps of those who often find it difficult to visit hospitals.
The newly launched MHCU is equipped to provide services such as: Preventive health screenings; basic blood tests; Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) diagnostics, and free medicines prescribed by qualified doctors.
Speaking on the occasion Adani Gangavaram Port Limited management said: “This initiative reflects our belief that true progress is possible only when communities grow healthier and stronger. Many families in nearby villages face challenges in accessing even basic medical care. With the Mobile Health Care Unit, we are taking healthcare to their doorsteps — listening to their needs and standing beside them.
