DCIL Observes Swachhata Hi Seva 2026

Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) observed Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 with active participation of its employees across the Corporate Office, project offices and onboard dredgers, reaffirming its collective commitment towards cleanliness, hygiene and environmental responsibility.

At the DCIL Corporate Office, Visakhapatnam, the Swachhata Pledge was led by Capt. S. Divakar, MD & CEO, DCIL, along with Heads of Departments, senior officers and employees. The pledge reaffirmed the commitment of the DCIL family towards maintaining clean and hygienic workplaces, promoting responsible waste management and adopting sustainable practices.

The Swachhata Pledge was thereafter undertaken at DCIL project offices and operational locations across the country, with employees participating enthusiastically in the campaign.

The spirit of Swachhata also reached DCIL’s dredgers deployed at various project locations, where officers and crew members onboard took the pledge, demonstrating that the commitment to cleanliness extends from the workplace to the marine operational environment.

Sapling Plantation to Mark the Prime Minister’s Birthday

On the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, DCIL also symbolically marked the occasion through a special sapling plantation programme at its Corporate Office in Visakhapatnam.

The plantation programme was led by Capt. S. Divakar, MD & CEO, DCIL, along with the Heads of Departments and senior officers. The planting of saplings symbolised DCIL’s commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainability and a greener future, while adding a meaningful green dimension to the celebrations.

The initiative reflects the Corporation’s continued endeavour to promote environmental consciousness and encourage collective responsibility towards nature. The saplings planted on the occasion stand as a symbol of growth, sustainability and the importance of nurturing a greener environment for future generations.
