Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 Commences at Paradip Port

Paradip Port Authority (PPA) formally inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 on 27 October, which will be observed from 27 October to 2 November 2025. The observance aligns with the nationwide initiative to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in public administration.
The theme for this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”The inaugural ceremony commenced with the Integrity Pledge administered to all employees by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Paradip Port Authority.
The pledge reaffirmed the employees’ collective resolve to uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity in all organizational activities. As part of the day’s program, a spot quiz on vigilance awareness was conducted among employees to encourage participation and reinforce understanding of ethical conduct in the workplace.
The event also featured a Nukkad Natak titled “Galabata”, performed by the local theater group CANMASS, effectively conveying the importance of integrity and ethical practices through a cultural medium.
To engage the younger generation, an essay competition was organized among local school students in English, Hindi, and Odia on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The competition aimed to instill the values of transparency and good governance among students.
During the week-long observance, a series of activities including a walkathon, elocution competition, drawing competition, and fancy dress competition have been planned to create greater awareness on vigilance-related issues among employees, stakeholders, and the local community. Paradip Port Authority remains committed to fostering a culture of integrity and transparency, ensuring public trust and accountability in all its operations through proactive vigilance measures and participatory awareness programs.
