Vancouver Fraser Port Authority to Host Its Annual Port Day on 29 August

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority will host its annual Port Day on 29 August, at Canada Place, inviting the community to learn about the maritime industry and its role in moving Canadian trade.
The free, family-friendly event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and features live entertainment, interactive exhibits, maritime demonstrations, career exploration opportunities, and activities for all ages. The event will conclude with a performance by Vancouver alternative rock band Fake Shark, this year’s Port Day headliner.
Peter Xotta, President and Chief Executive Officer, Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, said, “Port Day brings the community together with the people, organizations, and businesses that keep Canada’s trade moving through the Port of Vancouver.”
