Senior PIB Officer Bags Silver Medal in International Yoga Competition

Pranab Kumar Nath, an Assistant Director in the Press Information Bureau (PIB) and currently serving as Chief of Media and Communications in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, won the silver medal in the Senior Men’s Yoga Asana category at the 10th World Yoga Championship organised by the International Yoga Federation.

Nath, a Yoga exponent, is a resident of All India Radio Complex, Guwahati, Assam, participated in the championship in virtual mode. He is a silent yoga practitioner and got many laurels in the field of yoga. Turkiye-based International Yoga Federation (IYF) is a global non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting yoga as both a sport and a pathway to physical, mental, and social well-being. With a presence in over 60 countries, the IYF serves as an inclusive global platform that connects yoga practitioners, schools, experts, and organizations.
