Following the plenary meeting on the East–West Dedicated Freight Corridor, Praveen Kumar, MD, DFCCIL, conducted on-ground inspections of key logistics infrastructure on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor on 22 March 2026.
During the visit, he inspected Gothangam GCT (Emirates), New Ankleshwar GCT (Sawariya Shakti), and Varnama Termainal (CONCOR), reviewing terminal connectivity and strengthening seamless multimodal operations, ensuring that terminal infrastructure is aligned with the growing demands of freight movement.
Praveen Kumar was accompanied by senior officers from DFCCIL Corporate Office including Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director/OP & BD; Anurag Sharma, Director/Infra; Manish Awasthy, ED/Infra; S. P. Verma, GGM/BD & BA; S. K.
