PM Modi Set To Visit Gujarat on 20 September; Gujarat Maritime Board Lines Up MoUs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Bhavnagar district in home-state Gujarat on 20 September 20, according to multiple reports published in Gujarati media.

According to DeshGurajat report, Bhavnagar District Collector Dr. Manish Kumar Bansal made the announcement of PM’s visit following a meeting with officers and office bearers at the Collectorate.

As part of the programme, organized jointly by the Union Ministry of Shipping, Gujarat Maritime Board, and the district administration, MoUs on port and shipping policies will be signed. The event will also witness the foundation stone-laying and inauguration of several development projects, along with a road show.

According a report on Bhaskar, Bhavnagar is preparing a grand welcome for PM Modi. The PM’s arrival has created an atmosphere of excitement across Bhavnagar. Citizens are preparing for his welcome, while authorities are ensuring smooth arrangements and security for the large public gathering.

MoUs with Gujarat Maritime Board

During the visit, several MoUs will be signed between the Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) and other stakeholders. These agreements are expected to play a crucial role in boosting Bhavnagar’s maritime and economic development. In addition, two projects of the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation will also see foundation laying and inauguration.
