Paradip Port Holds ‘Run for Unity’ on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Paradip Port Authority on 31 October conducted “Run for Unity” on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). This year’s celebration is particularly special as it marks the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
While addressing the gathering, Capt. Alekh Charan Sahoo, Deputy Chairman (I/C), PPA, highlighted Sardar Patel’s vision of a united India and called for an inclusive, prosperous and harmonious Country.
He urged all the employees to follow the same resolve and put their best efforts forward to take PPA into newer heights in coming times. Thereafter, he flagged off the “Run for Unity” comprising of officers, employees, CISF personnel, Sports trainees of GKS, college students of Paradeep College and Orissa Maritime Academy, which traversing through Port township culminated at the Gopabandhu Stadium
