Kamarajar Port Joins Hand With BumbleB Trust for Kalvi40 Digital Learning Initiative in 28 Govt. Schools

In a significant stride towards enhancing the quality of education in Government schools, Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for FY 2025–26, inaugurated the Kalvi40 Digital School Initiative at ADW Government High School, Vallur. With a contribution of ₹33.20 lakhs to BumbleB Trust, the initiative will benefit 28 government schools across North Chennai and Tiruvallur District in the vicinity of Kamarajar Port.

The Kalvi40 Digital School initiative is designed to improve learning outcomes for students in Classes 3 to 8 by integrating technology into the classroom. The programme delivers interactive, high-quality digital content aligned with the Samacheer Kalvi curriculum, while also ensuring continuous engagement with teachers and students for a holistic learning experience.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by J.P. Irene Cynthia, IAS, Managing Director, Kamarajar Port Limited, who officially launched the initiative. Prem Kumar Gokuldasan, Founder, BumbleB Trust, along with A. Karuppiah, Deputy General Manager (Civil) and CSR Nodal Officer, KPL, Chitra, Special Tahsildar, Ponneri, Government School Principals, KPL and BumbleB Trust officials, and enthusiastic students were present on the occasion.

The event featured classical dance by school students, motivational speeches, principals & coordinators interactions, and distribution of training kits to the BumbleB Coordinators and principals. The initiative is expected to directly impact hundreds of students and teachers, enabling a more engaging, inclusive, and future-forward educational environment.
