JM Baxi Group Chairman Visits V.O. Chidambaranar Port, Discusses Collaborative Opportunities

Krishna Kotak, Chairman of JM Baxi Group, on 9 April 2026 visited V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tuticorin, along with his team.
They were warmly welcomed by Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, and Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Chairperson, along with senior port officials.
During the visit, the Chairperson presented an overview of the port’s key initiatives, including cargo performance, capacity augmentation, port-led development, and various green and sustainability initiatives.
The meeting also featured productive discussions on exploring collaborative opportunities to enhance cargo volumes and strengthen business growth at the port.
