JBS Academy Hosts Industry Visit for Exim Students to Jeena & Co. Cold Chain Facility

JBS Academy Private Ltd., successfully organized an industry visit to Jeena Logistics for students of Certificate Course in Exim Executive.
According to a media brief from the Academy, the visit was aimed at providing students with practical exposure to cold chain logistics, a critical component of global supply chains.
The students were welcomed by the Jeena team and were introduced to the functioning of cold storage in safeguarding healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, and medicines. Experts from Jeena explained the technology and processes that ensure product integrity, making the concepts simple and relatable for students.
During the visit, students observed: Cold rooms with controlled temperatures between –15°C and –25°C; Protective clothing and strict safety protocols for staff; Restricted access to sensitive storage zones; Real-time monitoring devices for temperature and humidity; and Demonstrations of data loggers, temperature meters, and cargo handling equipment.
The interaction highlighted the importance of precision, technology, and hygiene in ensuring that sensitive goods reach end-users without compromise. The visit concluded with enthusiastic participation from students, who gained valuable insights into the functioning of cold chain logistics and its significance in everyday life.
