Department of Economic Affairs Delegation Visits Paradip Port

Juhi Mukherjee, Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, along with the DEA delegation team, on 11 May 2026 visited the Paradip Port Authority Administrative Building during their field visit to Paradip.
P. L. Haranadh, IRTS, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority, T. Venu Gopal, Deputy Chairman, and Heads of Departments welcomed the delegation and held discussions on port infrastructure, logistics, industrial growth, trade facilitation and operational challenges.
The visit provided an important opportunity for direct interaction between government policy makers and port leadership, reinforcing Paradip Port’s significant role in India’s maritime trade and economic development.
