Deendayal Port Chairman Visits Project Site Earmarked for 150 TPD e-Methanol Plant

Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, and Bikul Deka, Chairman Assam Petro Chemicals, on 22 February 2026 visited the project site earmarked for the 150 TPD e-Methanol Plant.
With the visit, Deendayal Port is all set to initiate site work for India’s first 150 TPD e-Methanol Plant in collaboration with Assam Petrochemicals Ltd. (APL).
This move reaffirms DPA’s commitment to clean fuel, decarbonisation and Net-Zero goals. APL–DPA partnership marks a historic step towards producing India’s first 150 TPD e-Methanol at a Major Port.
