DBGT in VOC Port Registers New Milestone with Maiden Voyage to Singapore

Marking another significant milestone in strengthening international maritime connectivity, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority on 2 August 2026 celebrated the successful maiden voyage of M.V. Lan Hai Zhi Yuan to Singapore from Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal (DBGT), Berth No. 8. The vessel berthed at the Terminal on the afternoon of 1 August and began its voyage to Singapore on 2 August.
In a statement, VOCPA extended its heartfelt appreciation to Team DBGT for their dedication, seamless coordination, and operational excellence that made this achievement possible.
In a statement, DBGT official stated: “We extend our sincere appreciation to M/s ONE Line for their container support, M/s Samudera Shipping Line as the vessel operator, M/s United Liner Shipping Services as the vessel agent, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, valued customers and all stakeholders for their continued trust and support.”
“Together, we continue to strengthen global trade connectivity and reinforce VOC Port’s position as a gateway for world-class maritime logistics,” added the statement from the VOCPA.
