Chennai Cargo Friends Association To Hold its AGM in October

Chennai Cargo Friends Association (CCFA) is planning to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 3 October 2026 at Vijay Park Hotel.
Detailing about CCFA’s activities during the last three months, S.Sivadoss, President, said that, “From healthcare and social service to cultural celebrations and sporting excellence, last three months witnessed enthusiastic participation from members and reflected the organisation’s commitment to creating meaningful platforms that go beyond professional networking.”
The CCFA successfully conducted a Carrom Tournament on 11 July 2026 with enthusiastic participation from its members. It was headed by Our Vice President R.Srinivasan and Co Head, Vice President B.P.Mohamed Rahim.
The tournament was organized with the objective of promoting friendship, team spirit, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among members of the association. The event witnessed active participation, with players displaying excellent concentration, skill, and competitive spirit throughout the matches.
8th EC Meeting
As invited and graced by Prime Advisor K.Venkattu, CCFA’s 8th EC meeting was held at “SAKKRISH “ Hall on 31 July 2026, which is a rent free charity place and IPP P.Sreejith & President Elect G.Velmurugan has hosted dinner for the participants towards their birthday celebration
Promoting Health & Well-being
The purposeful note with the inauguration of the Master Health Check-up Camp on 1 August 2026. The initiative was aimed at encouraging preventive healthcare and greater health awareness, reinforcing CCFA’s commitment to the well-being of its members and the wider community. Almost 90+ members have utilised this useful event. The Committee headed by Our Treasurer V.Gopal and Co Head, Vice President A.Arivazzhagan.
Celebrating the Spirit of Independence
The Independence Day Celebration on 15 August 2026 brought members together in a spirit of patriotism and national pride. At the CCFA’s 4th Independence Day celebration, Secretary M.Umamagesh hoisted the National Flag. The occasion provided an opportunity to honour the sacrifices behind India’s freedom and to reaffirm the values of unity, responsibility and service. The event was headed by Vice President D.Suresh Kumar.
Onam – A Celebration of Culture & Togetherness
The Lady Wing Members of CCFA added a special festive touch by organising an Onam Celebration on 26 August 2026. The colourful celebration showcased the richness of tradition and culture while fostering friendship, fellowship and stronger bonds among members and their families. It was organized by Lady Wing President Theresa and lady wing members.
Sportsmanship Takes Centre Stage
The sporting calendar reached an exciting milestone with the CCFA Badminton Tournament held on 30 August 2026 at Sathyarav Badminton Club, Kodungaiyur. It was headed by Vice President R.Srinivasan and Co Head, Treasurer V.Gopal.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation and competitive spirit among members, providing an excellent platform to promote fitness, sportsmanship, healthy competition and camaraderie. The tournament was inaugurated by CCFA Prime Advisor K. Venkattu and Legend R. Sathyanarayanan, whose presence added distinction to the occasion.
Serving Society – A Continuing Commitment
Beyond its regular programmes, CCFA continues to strengthen its commitment to social responsibility through its weekly food distribution initiative at various orphanages which are basic object of our association. The Committee headed by Vice President D.Suresh Kumar and Co Head M.Mani regularly distributes food to children at different orphanages, making social service an ongoing endeavour rather than an occasional activity. This sustained initiative reflects CCFA’s belief that an organisation’s success is measured not only by its professional achievements but also by the positive difference it makes in society.
