Deendayal Port Celebrates 77th Republic Day, Emphasizes Democratic Sprit in Nation-Building

Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, India’s leading Major Port under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, celebrated the nation’s 77th Republic Day with great patriotic fervour.

On the occasion, Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, Deendayal Port Authority, unfurled the National Flag at the Sports Complex, DPA Township, Gopalpuri, Gandhidham, symbolising the nation’s unity, integrity, and democratic spirit.

The grand Republic Day programme was witnessed by a massive gathering of port officials, dedicated employees, their proud families, spirited trade union members, valued stakeholders, and enthusiastic citizens from all walks of life. The air was electric with unbreakable national pride, unwavering patriotism, and the unbreakable spirit of unity that defines great nation India.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Nilabhra Dasgupta, IRS, Deputy Chairman, J. K. Rathod, CPES, CVO, DPA, Manish Gurwani, IAS, Municipal Commissioner, Gandhidham Municipal Corporation, along with other senior officers and dignitaries.
