FFFAI Holds 2nd Executive Committee Meeting at Chennai

The second Executive Committee meeting of the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) was held on 28 & 29 November 2025 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Chennai. The meeting was chaired by Amit Kamath, Chairman, FFFAI, along with Chairman Elect S. Nataraja, Office Bearers, and Executive Committee Members.

The sessions held during the two-day meet witnessed detailed deliberations on various trade-related matters, with insightful presentations from respective councils.

A. Manimaran, IRS, Commissioner of Customs, Chennai, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He spoke about the pivotal role played by Customs Brokers in trade facilitation and appreciated the Federation’s consistent feedback and collaboration in enhancing Customs processes. An interactive session followed, where the Commissioner patiently addressed and clarified concerns raised by the members.

The meeting also featured a special felicitation of T.J. Srinivasaraj, newly elected President of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, in recognition of his achievements. All sponsors were honoured for their generous support.

The event was hosted by the Chennai Customs Brokers’ Association (CCBA). R.N. Sekar, Secretary, warmly welcomed all attendees and reiterated CCBA’s commitment to the trade community. S. Nataraja, CCBA President and FFFAI Chairman-Elect, highlighted various ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening logistics and Customs facilitation for the benefit of Customs Brokers and the trade at large during the EC meeting.
