Shri Sudhansh Pant, IAS, Secretary , Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India visited Dredging Corporation of India Limited, Visakhapatnam on 25 February 2023 for reviewing the performance of the company.
He planted a sapling in the premises of the company on this occasion. VPA and DCI chairman Shri.K.Rama Mohana Rao also participated in the review meeting.
During the review Secretary, Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways stressed the need to increase the dredging capacity of the company. He stated that DCI should take all necessary steps to improve its performance and become more competitive to become a global player. Capt. S. Divakar, MD and CEO, DCIL, (A/C) welcomed the secretary and explained about various projects and progress taken up in this regard.
