Woman golfer Smt. Madhu Chaddha emerged champion in the women category of Paradip Port Invitation Golf Tournament 2023, which concluded here on 12 February.
Shri Dharmendra Mishra of Paradip Golf Club became the champion of the tournament. In handicap (0 – 16) & (17 – 24) categories, Shri A.C. Sutar & Shri Deepak Sarangi of Paradip Golf Club became the winners respectively. In children putting, Ms. Diptimayee Behera became the winner.
The Annual invitation Golf Tournament of Paradip Golf Club was held at Paradip Port Golf Course. It was organised jointly by Paradip Golf Club and Paradip Port Sports Council. Gracing the occasion, Dy. Chairman, PPA, Shri A.K. Bose, Shri D.N. Sondhi, President, GKS and Smt. Suchismita Bose, Vice President, Paradip Ladies Club gave away the prizes.
Paradip Golf Club president Shri DN Sondhi, working president, Shri Bablu Sikdar, Shri Manoj Kumar Mahanta, Secretary, Shri A.C. Sutar, Vice President, Dr. DP Sethi, Working President and Shri Ranjan Rashmi Beura, Secretary, GKS conducted the tournament successfully. Shri Rabi Das, Advisor, sports council gave the vote of thanks. Total 70 golfers from 7 leading golf clubs from eastern part of India participated in the tourney.
