Maersk Announces Introduction of SHUTTLE Service From Kamarajar Port Instead of Kattupalli

Maersk on 5 February announced that its SHUTTLE service will now commence from Kamarajar Port, Ennore starting 15 March.

According to an advisory to customers, Maersk stated: “In 2018, we introduced the Chennai Express (CHX) service at Ennore, a decongested alternative to the existing ports. We hope, over the last 3 years you have experienced faster turnaround time, better connectivity and improved scheduled reliability. To ensure a continued seamless experience of cargo deliveries, we are glad to inform you that we will be introducing our SHUTTLE service from Ennore [Kamarajar Port] (instead of Kattupalli) in liaison with Adani Terminals effective March 15th, 2021 onwards.”

The revised route will be Krishnapatnam – Ennore – Colombo – Salalah – Cochin/ Colombo – Krishnapatnam
