DCIL Delivers Remarkable Turnaround in Q1, Records 46.73% Growth in Operational Income, Returns to Profitability

Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL), India’s premier dredging company, has commenced FY 2026–27 on a strong note by delivering an impressive financial and operational performance for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
The Company’s performance reflects its unwavering commitment to operational excellence, efficient fleet deployment, prudent financial management and sustainable value creation, resulting in a significant turnaround in profitability while reinforcing its leadership in India’s dredging sector.
During the quarter, Operational Income increased to ₹355.43 crore, registering a remarkable 46.73% growth over ₹242.24 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The Company reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹11.24 crore, compared to a loss of ₹23.33 crore in Q1 FY 2025–26.
The Company’s operating performance remained resilient, with EBITDA increasing to ₹61.86 crore from ₹46.90 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Underscoring DCIL’s continued focus on operational efficiency, disciplined execution, and prudent cost management.
The quarter also showcased DCIL’s ability to maximise operational productivity by generating ₹355.43 crore income. This achievement highlights efficient fleet deployment, improved project execution and optimum utilisation of resources.
The Company also continues to focus on strengthening its financial position through effective working capital management, with sustained efforts to improve recovery of outstanding receivables and enhance liquidity.
