Deendayal Port Hosts 2-Day Workshop on Advancing Green Transition in Maritime Sector

Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) on 12 December 2025 inaugurated the two-day workshop on “Desalination – Travel through Time & Notable Developments in the Field of Green Transition” at DPA’s Admin Building, Gandhidham. The workshop was organised in collaboration of CSIR- Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute. The workshop witnessed participation from Major Ports, industry leaders, DPA Officials & Employees.

During the two-day workshop on “Desalination – Travel through Time & Notable Developments in the Green Transition,” participants witnessed a Live demonstration of a Seawater Electrolyzer and Desalination technology. The cutting-edge showcase left participants truly mesmerised, highlighting the future of sustainable water–energy solutions.
