VOC Port Chairperson Purohit Launches DBGT Terminal Mobile Application

With a view to facilitate exporters, importers, CHAs, and shipping lines with seamless flow of information about cargo movement, Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, on 14 November 2025 launched Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal’s (DBGT) mobile application. He launched the facility in the presence of Deputy Chairperson, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, DBGT CEO, Senthilkumar Subramanian and senior officials of the port and the DBGT.

According to details available, this new application brings a suite of powerful features including live vessel tracking (ETA, berthing, departures), real-time container movement updates, gate status visibility, daily and weekly schedules, instant notifications, and seamless access for exporters, importers, CHAs, and shipping lines.
