Union Government Appoints IES Officer Arun Prasad T as CVO of Visakhapatnam Port Authority

Government of India on 16 September 2025 appointed Arun Prasad T, a 2008-batch officer of the Indian Economic Service (IES), as new Chief Vigilance Officer of Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA). According to the details available in office memorandum, Arun Prasad’s appointment was cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC)for three-year tenure. As the Chief Vigilance Officer, Arun Prasad will serve as the nodal authority for vigilance matters within the VPA.
