Kamarajar Port Observes Vigilance Awareness Week

Kamarajar Port Limited under the Ministry of Shipping is observing Vigilance Awareness Week – 2018 from 29th October 2018 to 3rd November 2018 at its Registered Office and Port Office as per Central Vigilance Commission Guidelines.

The observance of the week started with administering the pledge to KPL employees at Port Administrative Office by Shri Sanjay Kumar, General Manager (CS & BD) with all other Officials.

During the week long celebrations, Vigilance Department organized a special lecture addressed by Smt V. Hemavathi IRS, Commissioner (AR), Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal Govt. of India at KPL on 30.10.2018.

To raise awareness about good governance and important role of preventive vigilance among the children and youth, KPL organized competitions at the vicinity schools and colleges.  KPL also conducted essay writing competitions for KPL employees. The activities were based on this year’s theme of “Eradicate Corruption – To build a New India”.
