As part of the Swachchata Hi Seva campaign, the Mormugao Port Trust organized an Inter Departmental Skit Competition on the theme ‘Swachchta’. This was an initiative to give a boost to the creative and acting talents of the employees and to provide them a platform to bring about awareness on cleanliness in our day to day lives through the medium of drama. The Skit Competition received a good response and 6 departments participated in the same. The skit was of 15 minutes duration and limited to 6 participants only.
The officers and employees exhibited their acting and scripting talents by presenting thought provoking skits highlighting the menace of garbage, plastics and other material that is harmful for the environment. All the departments made great efforts to script meaningful skits and impress upon the audience by their performance to support the mission of Swachchta Hi Seva for garbage free Goa and India. Strong emphasis was laid on eradicating the garbage menace with the help of impressive visual display and a dose of healthy humour too. All the skits received tremendous appreciation from those present at the competition.
