Delegation of Assam Industrial Development Corporation Visits Sri City

A six member delegation of Assam Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) Ltd., an undertaking of Government of Assam headed by its Chairman Mr. M. R. Das visited Sri City on 21 May 2018.

Mr. Satish Kamat, President (Operations), Sri City extended a warm welcome and gave them a presentation on the infrastructure, unique features and the brisk pace of development of Sri City.

Exhilarated at the clear vision, perfect planning and meticulous implementation of Sri City Project, Mr. Das said that the entire team was highly impressed with its world-class infrastructure and business friendly ambiance.

The intent of their visit was to witness and understand the conceptual design of Sri City and study the existing infrastructure. During the briefing session, they all evinced keen interest and quizzed on different aspects of Sri City. Later the delegation went round the industrial zone and looked at the available world class infrastructure.

The other members of the delegation included Mr. J. Talukdar, Vice Chairman, Mr. D. K. Deka, General Manager, Mr. P. Bora, Deputy General Manager, Mr. A. Saikia, Deputy General Manager, and Mr. M. Bora, Deputy General Manager.

AIDC has been striving towards creating high standard industrial infrastructure in Assam for the growth and development of industries in the State.
