CMA CGM To Launch Indian Ocean Feeder 4

To support the positive commercial exchanges in the dynamic Indian Ocean market and increase the reliability of their service in the region, CMA CGM has announced the launch of a 5th service.

According to a media statement from the company, starting October 21, m/v MCP PACHNA of 620 TEU will significantly increase service offering on North Madagascar and Mayotte through the strategic operational hub in Pointe des Galets, Reunion.

With the launch of INDIAN OCEAN FEEDER 4 enhancing current radial feeder system in the region, CMA CGM service in North Madagascar and Longoni will have both an improved 10-day frequency and increased reliability.

INDIAN OCEAN FEEDER 4 will have the port coverage of Longoni – Vohemar – Port Louis – Pointe des Galets – Longoni. With this 5th loop, CMA CGM will offer the best coverage of Indian Ocean with 19 calls and reliable transit times.

It may be noted that INDIAN OCEAN FEEDER 1 is dedicated to North Madagascar with Port Coverage — Longoni – Majunga – Nossi Be – Antsiranana – Vohemar – Pointe des Galets – Port Louis – Longoni

INDIAN OCEAN FEEDER 2, weekly service dedicated to Tamatave with port coverage –Pointe des Galets – Port Louis – Tamatave – Pointe des Galets, INDIAN OCEAN FEEDER 3 dedicated to Mayotte (Comoros), Nacala and Intra regional Africa with port coverage of Longoni – Mutsamudu – Moroni – Nacala – Longoni.

INDIAN OCEAN FEEDER 5 is dedicated to South Madagascar via South Africa hub with port coverage –Durban – Port d’Ehoala – Tulear – Durban.
