Chidambaranar Port Creates New Record in Single Day Handling at North Cargo Berth – I

V O Chidambaranar Port Trust has created a new record by handling 36,526 Metric Tonnes of Thermal coal at NCB-I from the vessel MV. Asian Champion on 06.12.2017 surpassing the previous Single Day record of 35,656 Metric Tonnes of Thermal Coal at NCB-I from the vessel MV. Tentenc on 30.10.2016. M/s. Sical Logistics Ltd was the vessel agent.
Mr I. Jeyakumar, IRTS., Chairman, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust while thanking the stake holders, officers and the employees of the Port who have contributed to achieve this record conveyed that this Port is continuously striving to achieve improvement in Performance and productivity in order to attract more volume of traffic through the Port. The Chairman requested all the concerned to continue to improve the performance in future also.
