The Chennai Customs Brokers’ Association (CCBA) jointly with Chennai Customs, Chennai National Hospital, Chennai & Lions Club of Madras United City 324A1 D organized a Mega Free Medical Camp – 2018 on 24 January 2018.
Mr M Ajit Kumar, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Chennai Zone inaugurated the camp. The Chief Commissioner appreciated CCBA’s efforts and initiative taken for arranging this medical camp particularly in taking care of their member’s health.
Mr S Nataraja, CCBA President, welcomed all the dignitaries and members to the medical camp and announced that CCBA’s first priority would be member’s health awareness and similar camps will be continued at different locations for the benefit of all the members.
About 480 members from CB fraternity and customs officials and staff attended in the camp and 55 members donated blood through Lions Club. Various specialist doctors attended for Cardiology, ECG, Gynecologist, Eye Screening, Ortho, Dental, ENT, and also Diabetics, Blood Pressure and other General Health Check-up.
Mr C B Bujangaram, Vice president/Convener and Mr CMR. Ananth Sairam, Co-Convener and PRO with Executive Committee members of CCBA, coordinated and took the lead to make it a grand success.
Mr Sabrish Mohan Kumar. Jt. Managing Director, Chennai National Hospital, Dr. Balakrishnan Kavirasu (Siddha), Dr B. Bharath Shankar, (Specialist in Posture Alignment), Commissioners, Mr Rajan Choudhry, Mr S.P.Sahu and Smt Padmasri participated in the inaugural function and also attended in the camp.
Upon conclusion of the successful camp, CCBA felicitated all doctors and the entire team of Chennai National Hospital. CCBA Secretary Mr R.N. Sekar thanked all Customs Officials and other team of members from Chennai National Hospital for their great support for conducting this mega medical camp in the successful manner.
