Chennai Cargo Logistics Association Plans Mega B2B Meet in October

For the benefits of their own members, the Chennai Cargo Logistics Association (CCLA) in planning a mega B2B Meet in October this year.

According to a media statement from the association, with such meeting, CCLA members will get an opportunity to introduce themselves for better business opportunity with fellow members.

During August, CCLA will be moving its office to a new premises at Old No.24, New No.37 “Seethakathi Centre”,2nd floor, Narayana Saranga Garden Street, Chennai – 600 001.

The association also proposes to organize Employment Training programme for online filing of shipping documents.

“We have received many applications from fresh graduates of various colleges for attending the said training class and avail possibility of employment opportunity in our member’s establishments and other shipping related organizations. This program is scheduled for selected candidates and the inauguration will be at 10am on 4th Aug 18 at Softlink Global Pvt Ltd. The class will start on 4thAug 18 and will continue on 11thand 18th August 18 (all Saturday). The session is from 10am to 5.30pm,” said a newsletter from CCLA.

Social Service Activities

CCLA have received 4x25kgs of Rice bags from member Mr.V.Ramesh Nagarajan of M/s. Connect Freight on the occasion of his birthday and the same have been distributed to various orphanages.

The second Saturday celebrated with inmates of Anbagam, Otteri and we provided lunch for around 60 people. The large number of members attended in this program particularly Mr.R.Srinivasan and family from Muscat. Mr.N.R.Padmanabhan, Vice Chairman/Orphanage committee, organized the programme.

5th Executive committee meeting of CCLA was held on 19 July 2018 at BWC towers and it was concluded that the New CCLA office can be used by their members, who wants to use the space as their Business Centre.(Xerox / Print / System / wi-fi etc.,) President Mr.K.Venkattu thanked all the participants who have attended the 5th E.C Meeting held.
